State v. J.A. – First Degree Rape
Attorney Cooper Bolton is a native of Eastern North Carolina, having grown up in the small town of Louisburg. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in political science from North Carolina State University in 2019. Prior to joining our firm, he attended Campbell University School of Law where he concentrated his studies on criminal and government law.
Cooper made the most out of his internships while pursuing his education at Campbell Law. He interned at the Alamance District Attorney’s Office where he gained valuable trial experience prosecuting cases. While working there, he assisted on a first-degree murder trial, an opportunity that allowed him to understand the intricacies of high-level cases. He then spent time with the Town of Cary where he researched and drafted matters involving various Civil Rights issues. He then sharpened his negotiation and litigation skills while participating in Campbell Law’s Family Law Litigation Clinic.
After graduating and being admitted into the North Carolina Bar, he immediately began his work as a private criminal defense attorney. Cooper focuses his practice on representing individuals in both North Carolina state court as well as Federal court. Cooper has personally represented individuals accused of insurance fraud, drug offenses, driving while impaired, embezzlement, assaults, domestic violence offenses, breaking or entering, identity thefts and frauds, forgery, trespassing, disorderly conduct, communicating threats, and more.
