A North Carolina man is facing five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor after getting caught up in a child porn sting by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the Lenoir Police Department. Curtis Kacludis has been charged with both illegal possession and distribution of child pornography.

Parents Of Student Who Brought Gun To School Face Weapons Charges

Both the mother and the father of a 7-year-old who took a loaded gun to school have been charged with failure to secure a firearm from a minor, a Class I misdemeanor in North Carolina. Students reported the gun to school officials who then found and seized the weapon from the 7 year old.

A 45-year-old Raleigh man was charged with trafficking in cocaine after making three sales on separate occasions to undercover Wake County law enforcement. The third sale was a 'charm' for Rogelio Cortez - or rather for the Wake County Sheriff's Office - he was arrested during the third sale.

Drug Agents Go Through Trash, Raid Home Of Vacationing Hudson Man

Law enforcement officers in Caldwell County say they were tipped off to a possible meth lab by purchases of ephedrine-containing products and meth-making paraphernalia in the trash of a local man. That man, Marc Hodges, was on a trip to Cozumel, Mexico with his girlfriend when police secured a warrant to search his home and found additional evidence that he was manufacturing meth.

According to the police report a woman was sexually assaulted by two men after they first forced her into an unknown vehicle and taken to an unknown location.

The defense team offered a guilty plea in exchange for life without parole for the infamous Colorado theater gunman. But, prosecutors declined the offer and have publicly announced that they will seek the death penalty as punishment for the man who killed 12 people and injured 70 while they watched a late-night showing of a Batman film.
