The National Association of Distinguished Counsel recognizes the nation's top one percent of lawyers, based on its four-stage selection criteria. The NADC is "dedicated to promoting the highest standards of legal excellence." The four stages include:
3. Panel selection
4. Judicial review
As per the NADC, its selection process is objective and rigorous. Those who are ultimately awarded the honor of being included among the "Nation's Top Attorneys" represent some of the "finest lawyers in the country."
About Patrick Roberts
- "Not only does the job of a criminal defense lawyer pose interesting challenges, but it is also very meaningful - the work I do directly impacts my clients' day-to-day lives and their futures." - Patrick Roberts
Patrick Roberts' NADC profile shows why he was selected to be among the "Nation's Top Attorneys." Following the award of an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Patrick attended law school at Duke University, where he graduated with a Juris Doctor and began practicing law in the early 2000s.
Patrick spent the first few years of law practice as a prosecutor in various North Carolina counties, including Wake County, before moving to the defense side of criminal law.
Patrick then founded Roberts Law Group and in the many years since has racked up an impressive array of awards and recognition - an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, to name one - and has handled the toughest criminal defense cases, from federal sex offenses and drug trafficking to homicide.
