Attorney Miranda Mills featured in Member Spotlight of North Carolina Advocates for Justice

Defense attorney Miranda Mills, a partner at Roberts Law Group, was recently featured in the Member Spotlight of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. NCAJ is a statewide professional association of attorneys, law students, law school faculty and legal staff. The organization promotes nonpartisan justice reforms through public outreach and legislative advocacy. Its members also foster legal education by offering seminars, webinars and CLE (continuing legal education) classes.

Miranda has been an active member and leader in the NCAJ for several years. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the NCAJ New Lawyers Division. In that capacity, she helps educate, train and mentor new members of the bar. Previously, she served as Communications and Publications Co-Chair of the New Lawyers Division.

Miranda is also a published author. She wrote three chapters in the first edition of the New Lawyers Survival Guide, published by the NCAJ New Lawyers Division. She also published an article, titled "Adjusting Expectations as a New Lawyer," in the April 2016 issue of the NCAJ's Trial Briefs magazine. The article was later featured on Lawyers Mutual's Byte of Prevention blog.
