Jeffrey Epstein’s ex-girlfriend: How much does she know?

Jeffrey Epstein was a convicted sex offender who abused numerous underage girls over the course of decades. Standing by his side through much of his criminal life was a woman named Ghislaine Maxwell, a British socialite and daughter of media tycoon Robert Maxwell.

Maxwell and Epstein met in 1991 and were once intimately involved. The pair remained close friends until he died. Epstein was found dead in his jail cell on August 10, 2019, of apparent suicide – but there is speculation that he died by homicide.

Maxwell has also been described as Epstein’s madame.

Although has not been charged with a crime, many of Epstein’s victims have told stories about her involvement in recruiting and grooming young girls – and allegedly participating in the sexual abuse of these underage girls. Many believe she will eventually face prosecution. Maxwell denies any wrongdoing.

Maxwell’s whereabouts are currently not known, but has been spotted in Los Angeles. There are reports that she has been passing time in France, Brazil, and Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts.

Maxwell and Epstein knew each other for nearly 30 years.

Since Epstein’s death, Maxwell has flown under the radar. But questions about her involvement in Epstein’s illegal activities remain.

Many of Epstein’s victims are now speaking out, telling stories of the abuse they suffered. And many of those stories involve Maxwell. Stories of her recruitment of underage girls – some as young as 14 years old; stories of her prepping these girls for their encounters with Epstein; stories of her participating in many of these acts of sexual abuse.
