(Raleigh, NC) The North Carolina criminal defense law firm of Roberts Law Group, PLLC, has welcomed a new attorney to its team of defense professionals. Kevin Marcilliat, formerly practicing in Sparta, has joined the Raleigh team and will handle criminal defense matters throughout North Carolina.
After interning with the Mecklenburg County Public Defender’s Office and the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina, Mr. Marcilliat entered private practice in Western North Carolina. He has successfully handled criminal District Court trials, earning several “not guilty” verdicts in his first year of practice.
Mr. Marcilliat is dedicated to defending those accused of drunk driving, drug crimes, sex offenses, white collar crime, financial fraud and other misdemeanor and felony offenses throughout the state. At defense counsel’s prompting, the ADA spoke with his Law Enforcement Officers and determined that Defendant had been through enough already. Dismissed on the first court date.
