U.S. Marshals tracked a man wanted out-of-state on two first-degree murder charges to a relative's home here in North Carolina. Kevin Walker is facing extradition to the District of Columbia where he stands charged with killing a brother and sister pair back in July.
Juvenile Out-Of-State Sex Offense Conviction Follows Husband, Father To NC
Sex crimes committed while a juvenile followed one man to North Carolina all the way from California. Thirty-four-year-old Nigel Garcia was ordered to register as a sex offender after being convicted of sex offenses involving a minor under age 14 when he was himself just a teenager.
Extradition: 22-Year-Old Headed Back To Durham To Face Felony Charges
In December, Durham police responded to a 911 call regarding a shooting near Truman Street. When police arrived, they found a 29-year-old man with gunshot wounds who required hospitalization. The man police believe is connected to the shooting was recently found in Florida and arrested by U.S. Marshals.
