Curtis Kacludis has been charged with both illegal possession and distribution of child pornography.

Middle School Assistant Principal Falsely Accused Of Child Sex Crimes

A former Assistant Principal at Sullivan Middle School in Charlotte resigned after being accused of sexual exploitation of children by local police. A search of Darin Pearson's work computers and Ipod dead-ended the sex offenses investigation however, when no illegal pornographic images of children were found. The Rock Hill Police have closed the sex crimes investigation.

The FBI Child Exploitation Task Force and the Newton Police Department worked together to arrest two Newton men accused of possessing child pornography downloaded from the Internet. One man faces three counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor while the other faces only two for what is assumed to be explicit digital images of minors.

Former Sports Writer Preps For Sex Offense Trial In NC Superior Court

Accusations of sex offenses involving a minor were flying against former sports writer and small business owner Eric Lusk last summer after the North Carolina Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce (ICAC) discovered child pornography on Lusk's computer. According to an Elkin detective involved in the case, the child pornography was downloaded.

DNA Exonerates Man Falsely Accused Of Sexual Assault

In 2006, Johnny Williams was sentenced to 16 years in prison after being convicted of sex offenses involving a minor, including lewd conduct and attempted rape. Williams was released from prison and paroled in January, 2013. Just days ago, his sex offense convictions were set aside and the case against him dismissed.

Probationer Accuses Probation Officer Of Sex Offenses

An employee of the North Carolina Department of Corrections has been reassigned to a desk job in Gaston County after one of his probationers accused him of sexual assault. According to the woman, her probation officer, David Francis, had arranged a meeting with her at his office. While there, the DOC probation officer sexually assaulted her.
